The Description of the Experience “Imitate the Description” | How the Experience is Created “Feel the Experience” |
|
1. Imagine the notes in the right quality and direction of the sound. 2. Convey the imagined sound and its direction through aligned wrist motion. 3. Internally sing the space between the notes with glissando and resistance. 4. Transfer free energy within your body (arm weight) to the instrument through internal singing. 5. Your hands don’t exist: they are simply a channel for expressing sound imagination & internal singing. |
Describing an experience isn’t the same as Creating it:
What’s Missing in Teaching?
The PianoWell System
With 20 years of Russian School training and
nearly 30 years of intuitive research,
including studying with direct students
and grand-students of Heinrich Neuhaus,
Emma has expanded these foundations into a method
- that is both mechanical and intuitive.
- The results? Verified through thousands of videos and
incredible transformations in her students.
Her key innovation?
Music is created in the invisible world -
before the note is even played.
1. Shaping sounds first in the mind and vocal cords
2. Aligning sound imagination and inner singing
- with natural, effortless hand movement
My Journey & Mission
By adopting a mindful approach,
I healed from tendinitis and
musician’s dystonia.
Hi, I’m Emma, a pianist with a Master’s degree
in Piano Performance from the Moscow Conservatory.
I’ve been lucky to learn from some truly inspiring teachers
throughout my musical journey:
I started at The Central Music School
with Kira Shashkina
(who also taught Mikhail Pletnev).
Then I studied at The Moscow State Chopin College
with Professor Lev Naumov
(a student of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus).
I completed my Master’s degree
at The Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory
with Pavel Nersessian
(a Professor at both the Moscow Conservatory
- and Boston University).
The journey to becoming a great pianist isn’t just about
perfecting technique, but also about healing
from the emotional and physical traumas.
Over 25 years, I’ve created a teaching approach that nurtures
both technical mastery and emotional well-being.
Our community is built on the principles of
empathy, respect, and mutual support.
Pianists here are not just students;
they are part of a family that celebrates each other’s victories
and offers comfort during setbacks.
